Collecting Film Posters of The Animated Classics
All of us grew up watching the cartoons of Walt Disney. Cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daffy Duck, as well as Wiley Coyote and the Road Runner, filled our hours each week. They are part of our childhood. You have probably introduced your children to those characters, too, and many more. Wouldn't it be a good idea to help your child get started on a film posters collection of these great animated classics?
Early Disney Animated Films
It was Disney, of course, that made all the animated films in the early days, and introduced us to such movies as Bambi. This one film captured the imaginations of millions in that day - not only in America, but many other countries, too. Since that time, there are too many great animated films to mention them all. At about the same time, the movie Lady and The Tramp came out, Sleeping Beauty, and Winnie The Pooh.
Later Disney Films
As the movie industry developed its ability to produce higher quality films, we all have probably seen the animations that came out in the early 90's. There seems to have been a rather dry period of making of new animated films, between the years of about 1975 thru the early 1980's, when it seemed that Disney focused more an actual movies, rather than cartoons. The Jungle Book, and Peter Pan, came out during this time.
This period was broken by Fox and The Hound, and Lion King. These two movies captured all of our attention (even that of many adults), and made us want to see more. Every child should have a film poster of at least one of these movies in their bedroom.
The success of these movies prompted the production of other animated classics such as: Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty And The Beast, Mulan, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Pocahontas, Snow White, and a few others.
Recent Disney Animated Films
A new generation of animated films began with Toy Story, in the mid-90's. As you now, this animation added a realistic 3-dimensional quality to the cartoon that gave it a much better appeal. The success of this movie, quickly led to its sequel, Toy Story II. This first movie of its type is worthy of getting a film poster of it to add to your collection. It is history in the making.
After this film, many other new ones were made, which includes: El Dorado, Atlantis, Bugs Life, Hercules, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and Pinocchio. Other animations have also been made by other companies, too, and all are worthy of making up your complete film poster collection.
